I'm really glad you found this. My friend found it a month ago. I forgot about it and now you found it again. Fuckin sweet! There's all kinds of crazy animation this cartoon links too. For example 'The log driver's waltz' Good old fashioned, trippy, Canadian animation.
I always liked Canadian animated shorts when I was younger, the sense of humor in them was much different than what we have in the USA. Less stodgy and stuck up, more imaginative and plain weird. The animation itself was always different in each one, rather than following a formula, it felt organic and full of life.

Something else that's funny is around 4:30 in, one sign says "smoke", and as soon as that one leaves the screen a sign saying "pot" appears.
