YuenGlinG: Obama's Choice

Obama Settles Beer Bet With Yuengling

More was on the line than just North American bragging rights when Sidney Crosby’s overtime goal gave Canada a 3-2 win over the U.S. in the Olympic ice hockey finals.

A case of beer was also up for grabs in a friendly wager between the country's leaders.

President Barack Obama followed through on his hockey bet with Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper by sending case of Molson Canadian north of the border.

Had the United States won, Obama requested a case of Pennsylvania-brewed Yuengling. The Pottsville, Pa. brewery is not only America's oldest beer maker but also the President’s brew of choice.

For good measure Obama tossed in an extra case of his favorite beer to go along with Harper’s Molson.

Been having crazy Yuengling/Beer syncs lately (even though I don't drink). Might be because Osiris was so fond of beer, being the god of beer and all. It doesn't help that my roommates are in the process of brewing their own beer.

Took a picture of a case with this same image in a grocery store to show to a friend:

B(ock) B(eer)=22=11:11. The goat is representative of Capricorn/Saturn/Osiris/Obama. The Y is an inverted symbol of Saturn and a 21 (Or, as StrangEye pointed out in the comments, the symbol for jupiter, which I too see here. I've read before that the jupiter and saturn symbols are basically interchangeable):

Yuengling's traditional mascot is the Eagle (Zeus/Jupiter/21):

If you are (a) bee, why?

Parents saw red over these little owl-dog-tinman things. Not to mention, the furbys themselves have a light-activated red third eye.

Not sure where I was going with this. But there you go.

The Delusion of Complete Self-Reliance

I am going through a period right now where pretty much everyone around me is angry with me because I don't have a job. What they don't understand is that it's not that fucking easy, especially for someone with basically no credentials, no high school diploma, no reason for anybody to hire him (and they wouldn't know, because they were all basically handed their jobs). Everyone's treating me pretty unfairly so I'm just going to vent.

The people around me are stuck in this illusion that freedom can be gained. Maybe I just insert myself into situations where I am confronted with taking on the task of getting over my social anxieties and my dislike of being a corporate slave, but it's starting to drive me (and everyone around me) a little crazy. People don't realize they have this absolutist mindset where there is absolutely no other option besides giving in to the flaws of the world outside and accepting them as my own. When they try and help me with this, I intuitively push them away. They're like, tempting me with this poison apple of opportunity that can really only lead to loss, and it's making me uncomfortable. I have a serious problem with just giving in.

They all try to make me feel like I don't actually know anything about the world, and that makes me question myself. I don't mind questioning myself, but when the conclusion is that I am always wrong and everyone else is always right (the way it seems to me most of the time), I fight it. I feel like none of my friends even want to know how I feel about the world and our situation as human beings. They're all mad at me for something that is entirely out of my control, which is justified because they are paying out of their own pocket to support me in these times (even though I am not a costly person at all). But it makes me wonder why things are like this, and why they haven't thought about it more, and why they seem to just give in to this big corporate entity that only takes away things that actually matter, like friends. People give up their humanity for a little spending cash and it makes me sick to my stomach.

This is why I feel that complete financial self-reliance in our culture is a total lie. But no one around me will consider my feelings for one second. We CANNOT rely entire on our individual self for everything. It's usually people who still rely on their parents for things who say that I am wrong for thinking that. Now, I need to get a job. I really do, because money is important in our society and you cannot live without it. But the attitudes my friends are taking towards my pursuit is damaging to my confidence, and the pressure only makes me that much more of a nervous wreck. They make me feel like a parasite, like a worm rather than a human being with feelings, thoughts and aspirations. But if I ever told them this, they would still just have to be right (because the slave mass consensus says "never ever rely on other people" and if everyone else feels that way, it must be right), and there's nothing I can do about that.

I would just much rather we live in harmony than constantly be competing and arguing about every fucking thing that happens. Maybe I'm just not a very argumentative person, but to each their own, and people don't realize how ignorant their attitudes and opinions are sometimes because they are "college educated" and feel superior to someone such as myself who educates themselves. I have to keep a lot of thoughts and feelings inside just to keep my friends, and the seams are starting to burst. The self-reliance they seem to want to punch into my brain is the opposite of what they think, because I can rely on myself to separate truth from fiction.

Done.

Vampires Everywhere!

As you may already know, actor Corey Haim has passed on. Every reference I've seen to his passing includes something about The Lost Boys.

(Note: The above image, which I chose at random, is 66.6 kb.)

This is pretty interesting to me, because in the last couple days I was introduced to something (through my current Sync antenna, a close friend) which I feel is the end of music as we know it. The band is called "vampires everywhere!", and according to their Myspace (click at your own risk!):

One feature, in particular, has haunted me since I was of age to pronounce blood: "The Lost Boys." Like the characters, I have also always considered myself lost and trapped within a world that only embraces its own. This movie embodies everything I stand for: anarchy, vampires, youth, love & revenge.

The world will discover a new savior in our sound and we all shall use a new name to provide humor in anarchy: Vampires Everywhere! Inspired by the comic book in The Lost Boys movie.

Also, check out who designed their myspace (because they're not nearly intelligent enough to learn a little HTML): This Is Alchemy & Paper Tiger

Now, I would tie this all together with a neat little bow, but we all know I tend to leave a ton of loose ends open for interpretation. Searching a little more for Corey Haim info, I found this site about the show "The Two Coreys" (Janus stuff). The site says these two 80s icons actually met on the set of The Lost boys. I didn't know that, and I didn't know "The Two Coreys" even existed. Corey Haim's middle name was "Ian", or Ianus/Janus.

"More pictures, screw all this reading junk", you say? Alrighty then. Here are two images of the double C's seemingly sharing one body:

Well, this is weird - At this very moment, I am attempting to get a job at Dominos pizza. According to Corey Haim's IMDB page: "Favorite food - Pizza"

Oh snap. Here we go - The poster for License to Drive:

Notice any similarities to the image below? The key dangles off of Haim's jupiter (pointer) finger, and the two Cs form a gateway of sorts to a chariot and a goddess.

Janus - Doorway god

Update: I just noticed on twitter that 2 hours ago Jake Kotze too had noticed the License to Drive poster syncs! Amazing.

Kozmikon: Now Powered by Linux

I recently received a copy of the Linux OS from my friend, which I was able to resurrect my old computer with. Windows had rendered my computer completely un-usable, but now it works better than ever since I deleted windows completely and replaced it. If anyone else is sick of Windows (like me), I highly suggest downloading a Linux OS. It's free and it does pretty much everything better than windows.

Anyway, the version of Linux I'm using is called "Karmic Koala". Just thought that was a nice KK sync. The friend I received the disc from has been a major sync-antenna for me lately. I'll be able to blog more often now, so be prepared for new posts. That is all.

Parents commit suicide and shoot 7-month old daughter over "global warming fears"

Found on Red Ice: Baby girl survives after being shot in the chest in parents' 'global warming suicide pact'

A seven-month-old baby girl survived three days alone with a bullet in her chest beside the bodies of her parents and toddler brother.

Argentines Francisco Lotero, 56, and Miriam Coletti, 23, shot their children before killing themselves after making an apparent suicide pact over fears about global warming.

Their son Francisco, two, died instantly after being hit in the back.

But their unnamed daughter cheated death after the bullet from her dad's handgun missed her vital organs.

If you haven't seen the Red Ice TV episode about the COP15 Global Warming Conference, I highly suggest you do so. This event is sad enough even without the context of having fear shoved down our throats every day, but it is far too obvious now that the corporate "green" movement is nothing new and is merely another fear-based tactic to drive us all nuts and confuse the hell out of us. You won't see this story used as evidence against the media's panic-inducing bullshit about climate change.
