‘Proud non-reader’ Kanye pens a (short) book
‘Thank You And You’re Welcome’ is a 52-page collection of rapper’s theories
Somehow I doubt these are actually his theories. Should have titled it "how to be a rich, talentless slave to society".
NEW YORK - Rapper Kanye West does not read books or respect them but nevertheless he has written one that he would like you to buy and read.
The Grammy Award winner, known for his No. 1 albums and outspoken statements on everything from racism in America to the banality of Twitter (T: Any moron could speak about those last two things), is the co-author of “Thank You And You’re Welcome.”
His book is 52 pages — some blank, others with just a few words — and offers his optimistic philosophy on life. One two-page section reads, “Life is 5% what happens and 95% how you react!” Another page reads “I hate the word hate!”
“My favorite one is ‘Get used to being used,’ ” he said.
“I feel like to misuse, overuse or abuse someone is negative (T: Once again, any average consumer could tell you that, unless they are completely fucked). To use is necessary and if you can’t be used, then you are useless.”
It's interesting, on the way back home from the farm I was forced to listen to Kanye West's music. It is somewhat disillusioning exiting that way of life and going back to the fast cars, one-track minds and materialism, but it's empowering knowing that I don't have to be a part of it. I don't like focusing on the false gods of the corporate consumer realm (Kanye himself has claimed to be Jesus or something like that) so much, but this is merely to help others understand what their way of life is and how to avoid it.

It's ironic and unfortunate that he was having so much fun putting women down in song for getting plastic surgery, next thing you know his own mother died from the very same thing he judged/still judging other people for. The guy is an arrogant, illiterate waste of space.
What's a person who doesn't read books doing writing a book anyway? Isn't that counterproductive?
