Down on the Farm

I spent some time yesterday to pay Ezra of HOWMusic(k) a visit at the organic farm he's working at 40 miles from my home. After getting lost twice on the way and feeling a chill of anticipation going down the long, winding dirt driveway, I knew it would be a life-changing experience. It was an instant breath of fresh air seeing the way that he lived, almost completely isolated in nature, eating healthy and the presence of structural manipulation was nowhere to be found. It was the type of lifestyle I could only dream of yet here was someone who had found it. We took a long walk down a forest path and talked for hours about pretty much everything there was to talk about. We talked about so much that I can't pinpoint one subject, and I was still reeling from finally meeting someone who seemed to have crossed the barrier between our materialistic, robotic lives and into that of understanding and being at one with nature. I felt I wasn't using my brain to speak, but my intuition (and he could probably tell since I had trouble putting cohesive sentences together) and this really allowed me to vocalize some of my deepest thoughts to someone and not feel absolutely insane for doing so. To be honest, I wish I could have meditated before arriving so that I could better give my side of an argument but the car I was in had the radio blasting so there was no chance of that...

We tried some remote viewing techniques with his roommate (actually just another dude working on the farm), which proved fun and somewhat fruitful. I also learned how to do an EFT meditation (Emotional Freedom Technique) and had an awesome salad and raw chocolate. The whole time I was there I never felt a single doubt that I was around very good people, even though my "faith" in things was being stretched a little by some of the things he mentioned it's not like I haven't ever thought that most of what we talk about here is just another diversion in some form. We played guitar for a while but I didn't want to embarrass myself too bad so I put mine down early.

99% of the experience was spent entirely away from digital technology of any sort (near the end he showed me this and I had to check my cell phone a few times), and I liked that. In conclusion, it was a great change of pace, if even for a day, and it felt really refreshing to hang out with someone who seemed to really know what he wanted to do with his life and it didn't contribute to whatever it is that makes the world suck. I felt comfortable getting to speak with someone about these things and I made that as apparent as I could. He revealed some things to me which some of you might not be happy with (has to do with the "Second Matrix"), but he gave a really, really good argument as to why he felt that way and why he's doing what he does.

He mentioned that "Synchromysticism" is a household name these days... I'm not too sure about that but I did tell him that most of the time I feel completely alone in my mind so maybe it's just me thinking this is some sort of underground movement.. :)

Here's a link to the website of the program which Ezra is in working on organic farms. I'm seriously thinking about joining it myself.
