Fuck, what a frustrating day.
To whoever endorses hacking of personal computers or the spread of harmful viruses, Peter Venkman has some words for you:
Dr Ray Stantz: Everything was fine with our system until the power grid was shut off by dickless here.
Walter Peck: They caused an explosion!
Mayor: Is this true?
Dr. Peter Venkman: Yes it's true.
[pause]
Dr. Peter Venkman: This man has no dick.
Update: Managed to get rid of a few trojans but they seem to be replicating on their own. Whenever I do a full system scan there are more of them each time. Luckily, my internet seems to be running a little better (just waiting for one of those fake Internet Explorer pop-ups to show up... I don't even use IE), so I'm not nearly as pissed off as I was before my antivirus software decided to do something about this.
update 2: There is one virus on my computer which, when deleted, shuts down my internet connection completely. It's the one causing the pop-up for an "online virus scan" every 10 minutes. It's really irritating and nothing seems to work in getting rid of the infection completely. Makes me wonder who is really coding these worms and viruses. This one seems to have taken control of my internet connection completely, so who knows where everything I do and say on my computer is going? Probably some government database... Not that it's any different with a normal, "un-tapped" internet connection.
