The subtype for swine flu is H1N1. H stands for Haemagglutinin and N for Neuraminidase. This is the same subtype as the deadly Spanish flu of 1918.
Guess we thought it was over, huh?
Feeling really depressed today. Something beyond the boundaries of what I can perceive is pushing me towards what it wants. Not sure how to explain.
My emotions are kind of like a slingshot... It takes very little to bring me out of a depressive state, but the tension before releasing really takes it out of me. I stress myself out much more than I can handle.
That being said, this new info on H1N1 (8+1+14+1 = 24, jupiter number, can also become 13+11 or MK... Interesting duality there) is most likely more fear-mongering...

Sling shot? I hear that brother. I emailed Jake the other day after I saw his Apollo 13 banner with the anchor on Tom's 3rd eye. It reminded me of the sling shot technique used by NASA and nature, respectively. In Apollo 13 the pilot uses gravity from the moon to "sling shot" the craft; in return conserving fuel needed to get home.
Learning to anticipate you depressive state of mind could lead to energy conservation. I'm sure you've done this before.
Slingshot is shaped like a 'Y'...
I was actually thinking of the "moon slingshot" in Apollo 13 when I referenced the slingshot. The tension refers to not completely knowing if you're going to hit the right trajectory, and even rounding the curve, and the release is when you've successfully completed the "sling shot" and you're flying free.
I've done it before, it's just really tough now without cigarettes. I was thinking of quitting cigarettes completely last night after running out and falling into a weird addicted fugue, and sticking only to weed (I'd save more money that way, too). I just went out and bought a pack so maybe after this pack of lights (I had reds before, I feel like I've died after smoking one so no more of that) I can follow through with my plans.
"Y" as in "Why do I put myself through such misery"
