(MYFOX NATIONAL) - Last week Google brought in a herd of goats to mow the grass on its Mountain View, Calif. headquarters rather than using lawnmowers.
The company said that it wanted to take a more "low-carbon" approach with the goats reducing the company's contribution to air and noise pollution. The cost of hiring the 200-some goats is about the same price as mowing, but the goats were "a lot cuter to watch."
PETA responded to a TechCrunch call about the goats saying that though they have no problem with letting goats do what they do, they do have concerns about how they were transported and whether they have enough shelter and water.
Something tells me they have bigger plans for those goats.
Firing tenured teachers can be a costly and tortuous task
The eighth-grade boy held out his wrists for teacher Carlos Polanco to see.
He had just explained to Polanco and his history classmates at Virgil Middle School in Koreatown why he had been absent: He had been in the hospital after an attempt at suicide.
Polanco looked at the cuts and said they "were weak," according to witness accounts in documents filed with the state. "Carve deeper next time," he was said to have told the boy.
"Look," Polanco allegedly said, "you can't even kill yourself."
The boy's classmates joined in, with one advising how to cut a main artery, according to the witnesses.
"See," Polanco was quoted as saying, "even he knows how to commit suicide better than you."
The Los Angeles school board, citing Polanco's poor judgment, voted to fire him.
But Polanco, who contended that he had been misunderstood, kept his job. A little-known review commission overruled the board, saying that although the teacher had made the statements, he had meant no harm.
He probably knows they won't go through the effort of firing him so he does everything he can to inject a little bit of the hell that is his life into the children around him.
I was watching a video game review yesterday and one of the reviewers was wearing a Join or Die shirt with the snake cut into pieces.

On a google search for Join or Die I found this statement, from this website:
In Join Or Die, I paint myself having sex with the Presidents of the United States in chronological order. I am interested in humanizing and demythologizing the Presidents by addressing their public legacies and private lives.
Ooookayyy.

The group that owns the world system wants us to be messed up thats why they keep teachers like that.
School is a social indoctrination device, a system to train and mold the cattle. Sort of like brave new world.
Except that it's not far in the future it's happening today.
Good luck hang on.
BTW Your father really thinks he's a worthless piece of s*&# he's just verbalizing it outward
I know exactly what you mean about the school system. When I look back on it, I wonder how I didn't fully realize how prison-like and draconian it was and speak out against it more, probably because we were only allowed to speak when spoken to. I reached the point where I was drawing out maps of the school so I could make a custom Doom map out of it (which probably would have gotten me arrested these days) and practiced a few forms of protest during my imprisonment.
I'm aware of his shadow projections... I'm just wondering why he feels that way about himself when he's got a fairly good place in the world and I've mostly forgiven him for all his child-like behavior over the years (he got pretty addicted to drugs before I arrived, my parents met in rehab for cocaine abuse...)
