Seven secret societies in fiction and fact
In the Dan Brown thriller "Angels & Demons," Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon tries to prevent a modern-day resurgence of an ancient brotherhood called the Illuminati from carrying out its goal of destroying the Catholic Church. The real-world origins of the group trace back to Bavarian law professor Adam Weishaupt, who in 1776 established a group to free the world from the control of the church and, perhaps, establish a New World Order. That group is thought to have disbanded by 1790, though some theories suggest that the Illuminati continue to operate today.
Wow, that's pretty much out in the open. Hiding shit in plain sight, eh?
1. Knights Templar
2. Freemasons
3. Rosicrucians
4. Cosa Nostra
5. Skull and Bones
6. Bilderbergers
Alright, so the title says it's about "Seven" secret societies but only actually lists 6 that everyone already knows about (I'm guessing the first one mentioned was the Illuminati, but there's no title it just says "introduction"). It's pretty much just confirming they are all in control of what happens in the world and they have no problem with that. They failed to mention a lot of stuff though... This is just a fodder piece for idiots to laugh at the crazy "conspiracy theorists" and continue their smug stupidity.
