Duality: "Do you love Obama, or do you hate him?"

This story seems to imply that people who don't like Obama are the most likely to be in hate groups such as the Ku Klux Klan. This two-sidedness makes me think some "very clever" manipulation is being done on the behalf of those who are currently in control.

Growing hate groups blame Obama, economy

(CNN) -- Don Black said he despises Barack Obama. And he said he believes illegal aliens undermine the economic fabric of the United States.

Here's a nugget I found interesting:

The center's report, "The Year in Hate," found the number of hate groups grew by 54 percent since 2000. The study identified 926 hate groups -- defined as groups with beliefs or practices that attack or malign an entire class of people -- active in 2008. That's a 4 percent jump, adding 38 more than the year before.

The increase in hate groups actually occurred while Bush was president! 9+2+6 = 17. Sure, that's a coincidence... Right.

Here's how they present their actual ideas and apply them to another group: "illegal aliens undermine the economic fabric of the United States." They present the opinion to get it fixed in your head, then fling guilt around like they're the freaking Vatican. They give a little bit of truth (hate groups do exist but not only in this "hillbilly" context, more of a global kind) and then muddy the waters with a bunch of NLP-based attacks on your consciousness.

this brings to mind that incredibly stupid 'hate' crime bill. personally, i think crime is hateful if it hurts someone else.
but, seems we have to label it to protect certain groups of people, but not all...
i am not in the kkk, btw. ;)
