This morning at 7 AM as I was watching Rifftrax videos on Youtube, my lights flickered and I sensed a rumble and a horrendous "thud". I went upstairs and saw my dad running from the hallway leading to his room into the kitchen in total shock as I had never seen him before. A strong gust of wind had uprooted a tree next to our house and it had come crashing down into my dad's room, falling directly on the bed where he sleeps. My dad miraculously survived this event with no injuries besides some scratches. The tree cut through our house completely, dividing it in two. When I saw his room, I felt a wave of tremendous fear run through me. The ceiling was on his bed. He had instinctively rolled out of his bed and onto the floor just before the tree crashed down all the way.
A little afterwards as we were winding down, my little sister said she had a dream 2 nights ago about my older sister and my dad dying (my older sister's room is positioned right next to where the tree fell). There were also many, many other synchronicities surrounding the event. It was still dark outside when this happened so I couldn't see all of the damage, and by this time there were people from the fire department and an ambulance in front of our house. It all seemed like a nightmare. The top of the tree landed on my older sister's car, damaging the door and breaking some windows.

Crikees, glad everyone's ok...!
Glad you're all alive
Thanks guys. I'm still kind of in shock (fright-en-lightened, really... this relates to near-death-experiences) having not slept and the rest of my family isn't taking it very well, mood swings abound. My dad's going through some pain now (I told him as soon as he happened he might be in shock and not fully realizing his injuries yet), and my sisters are arguing over cigarettes, which obviously really pissed my dad off...
I don't have any way to upload pictures, but I think you all have good enough imaginations... Let's just say we all got a good cross-sectional view of a house. We're in good spirits besides the spontaneous bickering over dumb stuff..
*as soon as IT happened
Crazy shit. Made me think of Poltergeist. Hope you all are settled now.
I used to work on a big estate/mansion house. The Head Gardener, Gav, lived on-site. There was an old tree, which was out of place, maybe. Gav, who was right into the mysterious, used to will it to fall every morning. One day it blew down - on his car.
The place lies on a ley line intersection, the dining table is directly underneath the X. It was built in Jacobean times. When we -re-built the gardens, everything was dowsed first. The owners are building a massive sphinx like landscape feature, courtesy Charles Jenks. I could continue for days.
cheers
I sure hope no one willed a tree to fall on our house as a possible homicide attempt (it is really fishy that it just happened to fall directly where my dad was), but the wind was actually very strong that day (the "out of nowhere" strong gusts + wet soil did it, I think). I always worried about threats like that but try and keep them out of my mind, just in case I empower them with my own energy... My sisters think our house is haunted but only the upstairs, and I think it's just animals in the walls and normal physics.
