"I am a phoenix" + vampire school

Found this Saturnian cult ad clinging to a "story" about vampires roaming a school:

Headmaster: No Vampires At Our School

BOSTON -- The headmaster of one of the city's most prestigious exam schools is dealing with an unusual rumor sweeping student classrooms.

There are no vampires at Boston Latin School, says headmaster Lynne Moone Teta.

Seriously.

"Seriously, you guys. Seriously."

Students at the school, which was founded in 1635, began e-mailing news organizations Wednesday night with the strange story of vampires roaming the halls.
"Supposedly 3 students believe that they are vampires and today when a student was bitten the police were informed," wrote one student in a message to TheBostonChannel.com. "I heard that one girl was arrested another suspended."

Is this not straight out of a recent South Park episode?

In its long, rich history the school's students have included revolutionary firebrands Ben Franklin, Sam Adams, John Hancock, but likely never vampires.

Hmm, maybe the "Vampire" meme just carried itself across centuries... Wouldn't be surprised if there were some bloodsucking types roaming the halls... It was always the straight A, student-governnment-association types who were the ones I avoided most. Daywalkers, the lot of them.

In other news, more animal mass-murdering accepted as a scientific solution:

Toxic toads targeted in Australia's 'Toad Day Out'

Hitler's paintings auctioned off

Pop Pedophilia: 40 year old attempts to meet 13 year old after playing World of Warcraft over internet (this story combines a lot of things I abhor)

This one's important: Government spies on social sites in the name of "fighting terror". Why can't they realize that they're actually causing terror? What's that..? You mean they actually know that what they're doing is part of the degradation of humanity? Alright then... I mean, that's the only way I can see any of this making a small fragment of sense... They cause (well, start a "copycat" procession) all of the awful stuff that happens on the internet and then want to be seen as "heroes" for stopping it...

"We have no way of knowing whether Osama bin Laden is chatting to Abu Hamza on Facebook. Or terrorists could be having a four-way chat on Skype," he said.

Is this really the way they think? Anyone who thinks we actually put these people into power, say "Aye".... *dead silence*

I sometimes get the feeling we accept these monstrous warmongers the same way we would accept getting kicked in the face every day... We submit because the symbols accompanying their presence tell us to submit, then continue following their lead in a trance of utter soullessness... The feeling of "deja vu" synchronicity I'm getting right here is "I really wish everyone would wake up".
