What's on the menu?: Cannibalism

Hospitalis hospital-theme restaurant

A BIZARRE hospital-themed restaurant in Latvia is serving food resembling body parts with surgical utensils.

Decked out in a sterile, modern medical environment and boasting scantily clad nurses, the Hospitalis in Riga serves hearty Latvian dishes and a macabre cake topped with realistic-looking body parts such as fingers, noses and tongues.

I can't imagine anything that would destroy my appetite more than syringes and scalpels in my faux-cannibal chow.

HAA! I would not have an appetite either. But my fucked up metalhead friends would be all aboard! I'm guessing WWWiz got you thinking about cannibalism?

M.O. - Indeed. It "clues in" to something which happens in 'real life' (a horror show) in groups which feed off of "life essence" of others, adrenochrome+DMT in the blood of a frightened human...

Jon - In a way, yes. I really posted it to distract myself from thinking further about the nightmare posted above... What a thing to switch focus to, though. I think what really made me gag was the syringe in the beef, as seen in the slideshow. Something about a syringe going anywhere near my mouth makes me cringe. I am a 'metalhead' but some themes just seem to reflect a horrible truth which I take a little more seriously than music...
