Turn down the volume now if you're not fond of the Mystery Science Theater 3000 intro music (though I'm not sure why anyone would feel that way)...
This movie mentions a lot of "god-man" stuff. I just think it's interesting that no matter how bad a movie is, it will still carry the same themes as any other movie... Sometimes it's like they're selling us the same thing over and over again, just with different people each time. I'm still trying to watch through this and figure out just what a "puma man" is, but there is a golden idol thing near the beginning of the movie so I'm getting the whole gold/sun/cat theme. Could just be a reference to any ordinary sun god...
This movie's supposedly about a superhero (though I'm not seeing that 20 minutes into it) so I just thought I'd post it here. It's also pretty entertaining with the commentary so you don't get too bored watching this piece of crap while filtering out syncs. Kinda grew up on this show, didn't watch it for years until recently and it's even funnier than I remember now that I actually get a lot of the jokes...
Bonus sync: Farrah Fawcett is mentioned at around 23 minutes in.
Bonus Sync 2: Crow sings "believe it or not, this movie's still on, it should have ended two hours ago" which is a parody of the theme song for "The Greatest American Hero" which Michael of Gosporn just did a post on. This movie really reminded me of that show (even though I've never seen it) after he finally gets his puma powers (including flying [just like a puma!], faking death, and astral projection).
