(the author defends the guy while hiding this part in the middle of the article, clearly showing that the dude wanted the pic for himself. I'm not sure that's part of his "task of checking out the 'sexting' [I hate that term btw] among students. It's hard to know what actually happened in this situation because of the incredible asshattery on the part of everyone involved.)

(these last two kind of sum up why I'm so angry at this situation... It's people who the state forces us to trust to be around our children who seem to do the most harm)

This is giving me a headache. All of these stories were posted within the month of April. Just a (sick) recurring theme I picked up on... I think it's to subvert suspicion of corruption from those in power onto 'common people' as if it's just part of everyday life to abuse and exploit children and teenagers (hell, any human being or conscious matter), and the stories are just vague enough to stimulate the imagination.

I don't know if people are becoming scared of proper sex education or what... It's like we're being programmed to associate sexuality with things that should not have sexual connotations. Pretty backwards if you ask me. Also, teenagers being referred to as "children" seems to be more prominent in these cases, either as a product of "helicopter parents" (parents which imprison their children in a strict, bland fantasy world leading to confused blending between maturity and immaturity) and intentional dumbing down through shoddy education and chemicals, or just a plain corruption of innocence which is extremely evident...
