The monkey at the now-closed Magic Carpet Golf has been purchased by a Tucson woman.
A crew will move the 17-foot tall statue to its new home this weekend. Other golf course statues will also be moved.

The Monkey (chinese zodiac year 1992, beginning of the Aeon of Horus [9 years before 9/11/2001, which was 11 years before 2012]) and his pal the Palm Tree (according to Wikipedia which usually isn't accurate: "the palm may also symbolize the Tree of life in Kabbalah." [anyone wanna help me out with more Palm tree symbolism?] It can also be the "Spirit Palm" seen on other blogs). It's just a coincidence that he's 17 feet tall!
