Greed is the only thing that will get you anywhere in our society. It seems to be the sole motivator of any and all actions in this materialistic, sad place. All you can do is place yourself ahead of all others, no matter if they need help or even if they're dying, if it means you have to give up something or make a sacrifice, they're not getting anything if they're not willing to assimilate your pathetic ideals. Since everyone is locked into their own cage provided by their ego, this world is a very lonely, barren place. It feels even more lonely when there are a lot of people around. No one talks beyond their boundaries, no one interacts beyond tedious, menial needs. I think we've been guided into this position, but that's just me. We intentionally shut out the truth in place of a comfortable lie. TV plays a big part in this; it is our "big brother", our All-Seeing Eye which really only provides a view of the most wretched, bound ways of life. TV is the monotheistic God in our society. It works to single out and oppress those who would oppose our "masters" and program the minds of the weak into pushing themselves away from any sort of truth.
There is a strange dread lingering in these times, as if all hope died in the night as I slept. Our goal is fear and greed, fear of losing what we've gained through our greed. That is all I can see in the world around me. Love is absent, progress and prosperity for all are nowhere to be found.
I've been covering the Swine Flu thing lately, and while there is something fishy about the whole thing, it will probably pass soon, having gotten everyone's attention focused on fear, including me. All we can really do with that is wait and see if people start dying from the vaccine, and even then, isn't that kind of sick to just sit back and watch, waiting to see people die?
Everything I speak of in this post can be changed. None of it is absolute truth in the least. We just have to make that change.

Everything is still about Gordon Gekko, despite the economic debacle. Of course, we plebians merely use profane currency in our blind greed for worthless paper and virtual e-cash. The true and only currency is power for the wolves at the apex of the pyramid.
But the mainstream entertainment complex is a clear and present danger (to use appropriate militarized terminology) to all human interactions, yes. I struggle to find anything to talk about with close family and friends as, if it isn't on the box, it doesn't exist.
I mean I love a well told story as much as ever, its just there are not that many being told and not without agendas behind them often enough.

Keep your head up remember not eveyone everywhere is evil. I believe evil is just a man made thing. I am not some "happy hippie", more so a depressed lonely fuck with no friends ,but I chose to try to be positive and reflect that when I can.
Also keep in mind the "Illuminati" or whatever you believe is this higher power didn't build the pyramids, so don't go blaming pyramids. Go get yourself one and harness the power contained within. You don't have to be greedy, use it just to keep your head straight or something you think you may want with it, "Do What Thou Wilt" ` Alister Crowley
Peace Love and Girls with Phat Asses and Pigtails!
Your Boy, TQO!
PS I want to see a positive post with your creative style in it. That would be wild man! You got a way with words, use it for positivity!
C - I'd really like to make a more positive post, but there is really not much motivating me to do that right now... I don't remember blaming pyramids for anything anywhere in my post. I'm not sure Crowley is a great example, but I get the gist of what you mean, haha.
I'll try and keep my more negative thoughts away from this area, but I can only express what I feel is necessary to express, know what I mean?
I didn't see you were referring to "Big Brother", I thought you were talking about the eye on the pyramid, my bad.
I believe a lot of people misinterpret Crowley. You can't just watch conspiracy docs on the man. Watch the video below. You might just wind up liking the man.
I can't say I agree with everything he did but he was one hell of a magician! But I don't fully agree with everyone and we are all human subject to err'. I think this might be a good one for you to watch him in a new light. Might even find some similarities, you never know.

That's it man, express what you need to, as it's the only way it can come out, that is the way we all process the bs inside....creativity.
But then in the meantime, if nothing's truly holding you where you are, it's time to turn off the news, ebay all your bullshit, pack a bag, and get a change of scenery.
Don't be afraid to do so,
as the Universe will protect you...
and you will be so thankful you did... ;)
What's sad is what you've expressed here is a common viewpoint. But it's an all or none kind of thinking ... which is distorted thinking.
We are lonely because of fear, not because of greed. Fear of success, fear of failure, fear of being ignored, fear of intimacy, and etc.
Then there's anger ... anger most likely from the past or current situation not able to accept reality.
You are very intelligent. I agree we need to make the change but how do we do that with such fear and anger paralyzing us?
I think society at large suffers from ignorance and herd mentality. Only a few can inspire for change. Of those few, only a few will overcome their fear and anger to lead others in a positive direction.
Through the arts we can help the world see our vision of a better world.
And yeah Jen people are fucking stupid as fuck, but I see that everywhere (regardless of manipulation etc).
"If you open the doors in your mind, trust me people will find a way to open those doors themselves without communication." ~ Me
You can practice that from the comfort of your own bed and change will happen. It's called magic. laugh if you want, if all I do is amuse you that's equally as magical IMO.
I would agree that anger itself plays a large part in this. Then again, angry people are harder to control. It's a double-edged sword, like many of the issues mentioned.
