Moonwalker - Speed Demon

This might be the strangest, most surreal thing I've ever seen. I laughed, but at the same time I was very frightened and confused. It was more like the kind of crazy laugh one of the Nazis gave (would have given?) out before his face was melted off in Raiders of the Lost Ark. This is as far into Moonwalker as I got, everything before this is just random music video clips so it kind of came out of nowhere when I tried to watch the movie. I've heard there's some better (worse?) parts near the end but I'm not sure I can make it through. Dedroidify recently made a post with a video where Robert Anton Wilson talks about a humanoid rabbit god, I don't remember the name but it was a celtic god or something. There are a ton of man-rabbit characters in "fiction"... They have "V"s on their heads.

At the end he keeps saying "get your dick in". He's supposed to be saying "get your ticket" but it totally doesn't sound like that. "Pull over, boy" sounds more like "pull up a boy". If it's just me hearing that, I'm officially insane in the membrane. This isn't a song I'm familiar with, after having "Bad" engraved in my mind at a very young age and becoming very annoyed with it (and being very scared of Michael Jackson throughout my childhood), I avoided his music altogether or approached it with a mock appreciation (for example, I had to play drums to a Michael Jackson medley in middle school for a symphonic band class concert. Since I just enjoyed being able to play a drum set in that atmosphere, I thought it would be funny to act like I was really into Michael Jackson. Maybe that's just the way I saw it in my mind and no one there got the joke.)

Not trying to add onto the mountain of Michael Jackson coverage or anything. Every time I go upstairs one of his songs is playing on TV and to be honest it's a little creepy. There seems to be a strong polarity working here with people who absolutely love him and people who absolutely despise him. I'm not sure what side I'm on, really. He seems like too much of an easy target for negative attention/energy and it might be intentional. Here's one that flew right past my sync-radar: M=13, J=10. Wouldn't 10/13 in Europe (not sure where that applies and doesn't apply) be 13/10? That's kind of an important date...

Around 2:35 into the video, you can hear a woman say to Michael "I love your butthole".

You know, this video might be like the one from The Ring, I'd strongly consider turning back if you were still deciding whether to watch it or not after reading this far. Just the subject of Michael Jackson makes me uncomfortable. I'm surprised there isn't a phobia classification for "Deep fear of Michael Jackson, including his songs." I'm pretty sure he transformed into a monster and ate children, if the worst nightmares of my childhood were valid. Better stop thinking about it, lest the nightmares return.

Here's more of those nightmarish faces, courtesy of Genesis on their Land of Confusion album cover.
