Broken Isis

Virgin Mary Statue Toppled; '666' Written On Forehead

MT. LEBANON, Pa. -- A Virgin Mary statue in a Mount Lebanon church has been knocked over and broken by vandals who also used orange paint to write "666" on the statue's forehead.

Police are searching for those who vandalized the grotto in St. Bernard Church Saturday morning, police said.

The Rev. David Bonnar said it was "a really horrific act."

Bonnar said the statue's left arm was broken along with another part of its left side.

He said the vandals also tore apart rosary beads and threw them around the grotto. He said the area has traditionally been a place for quiet prayer.

Parishioner Joe Hufnagle discovered the mess as he arrived for morning Mass.

"Devastated," he said. "It's been here as long as I can remember."

Bonnar had the remnants of the statue moved from the grotto to a pickup truck. He said it took six people to carry it.

Mary = Isis. 666=Sun (in orange/gold, even. They wrote a symbol for the heart of the solar system on her forehead, how nice of them). Her left side was broken, signifying a destroyed intuition (right brain=left physical body), also signified through the destruction of a female goddess figure which is telling of their misogyny/hateful stupidity. Check out the blue and gold on the website, pretty typical of news sites and daily news these days, and if you've got tabs their symbol is an 11 inside of a circle, another Circle-K.

Let's take a look at St. Bernard: In the year 1128, Bernard assisted at the Council of Troyes, at which he traced the outlines of the Rule of the Knights Templar, who soon became the ideal of Christian nobility.
