Vampire tourism in Forks, Wash., still strong
FORKS, Wash. – The "Twilight" tourism bonanza shows no signs of abating in Forks, an old logging town on Washington's Olympic Peninsula that's won new fame as the setting for a teen vampire fantasy.
Marcia Bingham of the Forks Chamber of Commerce says more than 16,000 people passed through the town's visitor center in July alone, doubling June's number, and in one month nearly equaling 2008's total of 18,485 people.
She notes that in the "old days" the Visitor Center focused mainly on teaching people about logging and coordinating tours of local natural resources. These days it's all about vampires and werewolves. Logging tours have been cut back from three a week to one.
And the numerous visitors come armed with questions. Among them: Is it safe to go camping with the vampire problems in the area?
Forks:
Werewolves and vampires are heavy Moon resonators (one of them shape-shifts during a full moon, the other is only active at night/when the Moon is out, both are blood consumers). Werewolves are traditionally killed by a silver (moon-resonating) bullet. The vampires from Twilight are quite feminine, judging from what I've seen. Personally, I think the "werewolf" story is partly about the feminine menstrual cycle...
Director John Hughes (JH=18) died yesterday. One of the scenes in his movie FeRRis Bueller's Day Off (day off = night) references the Moon:

Also a double-R sync in "FeRRari". R = 18 = 9+9, the magic square for the Moon is 9x9 (which equals 81, 18 reversed, a lot of RR syncs have one of the Rs mirrored). Maybe the RR is pointing towards the moon... Or does it go further than that?
Note: 18 is also 6+6+6. Two Rs would equal 36, or 6x6, magic square for the Sun. Sun and Moon, Yin and Yang, The Twin Pillars... The moon seems to have a sort of dark feminine energy around it, judging by the events and syncs in my personal life.
Does anyone follow me with the magic square stuff? I'm really pushing these squares lately, aren't I? ;)
(I'm reading that the 999 and 666 has to do with "As Above [999], So Below [666]" [yet another relation to the twin pillars], according to this site. The site also has this important connection:

I was just predicting to Jon Kidd that Matthew Brodrick would crop up soon in the syncsphere on Monday.... Then Hughes dies, and here we are. Great stuff, I would love to read anything else you have already done on 9 and/or R, if you have that is. Thanks for everything.
Thanks, but this is really all I've done on RR so far. This post was originally just going to be about vampires and werewolves, but then all the other stuff started showing up...
