A couple held their wedding ceremony in front of an 18-meter-high Gundam statue at Shiokaze Park in Tokyo's Odaiba district on Tuesday night.
Yasuo Kai, 38, and his wife Emi, 37, celebrated their belated wedding in front of the life-size Gundam character built to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the animated television series "Mobile Suit Gundam."
I imagine this is something like a shotgun wedding, except instead of the bride's dad with a shotgun there's a giant robot ready to crush you.
