Genetic Hybridization: Creating the "Perfect Pet"

Behold...

Boffins unveil 'perfect' pet

"Kill... Me..."

Scientists quizzed 2,000 animal lovers and asked them to list their ideal traits - before designing a computer profile of the creature.

The freakish results included the ears of a rabbit, face of a cat, body of a golden retriever and tail of a horse.

The monstrous mammal - named Max - has high energy levels, loves daily walks and sleeps for an average of nine hours 27 minutes a day.

And... Pirates!

Piracy fears off UK coast after cargo ship disappears in English Channel

As the Arctic Sea entered the world’s busiest shipping lanes she made a routine call to the Dover coastguard giving details of her course through the Channel.

The brief conversation 15 days ago was the last confirmed contact with the 3,988-tonne cargo ship, which has sparked fears of the first modern case of piracy in Europe.

Russia’s naval fleet in the Black Sea was reported yesterday to have joined the international maritime hunt for the missing ship.

Mystery surrounding her disappearance has sparked speculation that the Arctic Sea is being used for smuggling weapons or drugs, has been seized for ransom or has been turned into a “phantom ship”.

Phantom ship? Does that make them ghost pirates or pirate ghosts?

update: I got 200 dollars, a pack of cigarettes and a 40 oz. bottle of budweiser for my birthday.

Dear god! That creature is horrendous looking!
I'm surprised they hadn't bred it with a cow as well so the freaks that own it could milk it daily.
Frightening..

Well, it's just a mock up, but you're right, it is hideous. Imagining it with an udder is pretty funny...

"Who wants some cabborsog milk??"
