7 Year old boy battles cancer as "The Dominator"

Bel Air boy, 7, fights for life as superhero

No one has ever told 7-year-old Dominic Osorio that he has brain cancer. Instead, his mother devised a story and made him the lead character. When Dominic undergoes surgery, chemotherapy or radiation, he is not a patient; he is the Dominator, waging war with an evil enemy that he calls a megazoid.

His grandmother, Monique Spagna, recalled the day Dominic finished weeks of daily radiation treatments at Johns Hopkins Children's Center that required the Bel Air boy to wear a mask and remain motionless for what seemed an eternity to a child.

"He could not move, so he would change identities and be the Dominator battling an enemy he called a megazoid," she said. "His mother came up with this story to help him deal with it."

Interesting hand signal they've got there. This seems more like the mom using her child's illness to make some money (since there is now a comic book about "The Dominator"), but that's just me.

Personally I think it's really dark to have a superhero based on the alter personality of a dying child. I wonder if that will fit into the comic book somehow.

LOL, that's so funny but that's just how I work.

Hand signal looks like Crowleys upside down (awesome IMO). Anyways I didn't know much about the kid or any of this till you posted this but, I make my brothers comic book store fliers for him.

They (the artiest of this kids comic) are friends of my brothers. I went to his store last Wednesday and they had "the Dominator" in a costume and I almost hit him parking my car in front of the store. I originally was gonna tell you "hey there is already a comic character named Dominator" till I remembered doing the flier and writing that bit about the cancer thing.

I can get a copy of the comic from my brothers store and see if there is anything else there.

Thought it was also interesting you posted this at 3:11 (the band quote Crowley in their albums). I think this is a great sign for you that you need 2 look into and maybe start practicing magic to make your situations "better".

Take my advice or leave it, but still thought this was awfully funny, like a hyper synchronistic post for me in particular.

At this point I dont even get surprised anymore, just wondering when everyone gonna wake up and "smell the roses", so to speak.

PS don't know if you read my private blog but all that might not make any sense if you don't.

3x11=33

Fascinating stuff about almost hitting the Dominator. You should have called him out, haha. I have another friend who does "lesser banishing rituals" and he suggested a book called "Mystical Kabbalah" for me to read, so I might talk to him about some of that stuff. I meditate every day, but sometimes it only seems to make things work now that I don't really have any intention besides clearing my mind while doing it.

Today's been really shitty, but that is probably partly due to me not having any cigarettes.

*work=worse, thought I suppose it could go either way.

Yeah my mom has been pissed at me for about a week or two now and it's kinda shitty cause I have no friends and enjoy her company, but I just can't dwell on it.

I don;t think you need books to get into magic, check out my private blog and look at some of the ways I have done some of the shit I have. I am hoping to help some people that want to practice "simple magic". I will get into more detail about that later.

I plain on picking up that comic from my brother tomorrow. Plus I was having a long conversation with this guy in my brothers store about "magic" I had giving him some magic beans I carry around to give away to people I feel may need some good luck or protection etc. And I was explaining to him a simple way to use this magic tonka bean and make a simple alter (printing out a picture and lighting a candle) and making a simple clear thought (meditating on it), but the whole time the guys who draw that comic in your post were listening. Wonder if any of that will subconsciously show up in their work.

I had a friend once that could draw good. I would change music while he was drawing to see if it changed the way he was drawing. For example some Hedrix and he would draw a tie-dyed shirt etc... I did this without telling him of course, he might have thought I was making something out of nothing.

Anyways you might want to see if you can just get something simple off the net or at a local new age shop to start. I just got some load stones. Look them up, kinda cool. You carry 2 of them with you. One to attract good luck and the other to repel bad luck.

Anyways enough typing your ear off,
