17 pound baby denied health insurance for being "too fat" (Update)

Insurer refuses to cover baby, says he’s ‘too fat’

At birth, Alex weighed a normal 8 1/4 pounds. On a diet of strictly breast milk, his weight has more than doubled. He weighs about 17 pounds and is about 25 inches long.

now for some unrelated music:

I'm having problems with health insurance myself, as I've turned 21 and I'm supposed to be in college if I want health insurance. So if I get injured somehow (which has never happened) my family and I are screwed.

I had a pretty crazy dream last night.... All I can remember is being in a house with a frozen lake in the backyard which everyone was telling me to play hockey on. Then some hockey players came and starting working on the roof of the house. Then I was in a school eating a really fucked-up looking burrito and talking to a few people I used to know about hockey. It's interesting because I've never been interested in hockey, and I have no clue why my dream centered around that.

I honestly don't know what to make of that dream. Anyway, I've been playing a lot of Doom lately, I fixed my internet connection (seemingly through magick as I really have no idea what I did) and can now play it online with a friend.

Notice the blue and gold, and the two pyramids.

I'm pretty sure I've brought up Doom here before, but I've been playing this game my whole life. It's packed with symbolism, which is of course intentional. The game is also filled with ZOmbies, which have been a recurring theme in the Sync realm as a sort of "death-rebirth" motif.

Update: Andre over at the Alien Project posted this Project Camelot interview with Jordan Maxwell on his blog, it is extremely interesting and I'd take the 3 hours to sit down and watch it all. It includes a pretty chilling story about a reptilian alien... It seems like every time I listen to Maxwell I end up changing my mind about something. When I first heard about the "Reptilian" business, I had a feeling that they were very real. That feeling started to fade, but that was because it really scared me and us humans will take a comfortable lie over the truth any day. I can't wait to see Jordan's new presentation.

Madness...absolute madness. I was born 10 pounds 7 ounces :)

Ive been playing Quake live lately. Didn't know about the Doom online. Groovy.

I had a dream about a skating rink last night. In the dream I was thinking about how the ice is kept cold via giant coiling ac unit under the ice. While I was thinking about this a gorgeous blond figure skater was moving towards me in slow motion. She was on one leg bent forward towards me with a huge red lipstick grin. Woke up shaking head pondering meaning...

I don't really like hockey....or figure skating. WTF?

Thanks for the Jordan Maxwell video link. :) I think the video gets really good at the hour mark and the conclusions are dead on.
