Anyway, I saw some numbers and other symbols floating around in it. I stopped keeping track after about 20 minutes in, so these are all from early in the movie. Once again, if someone else beat me to these, please link me in the comments. Thanks.

Turbo (turbo=13, solar number with 12 signs of the zodiac plus the Sun) C(3)-17. 3-17 is the death day of Osiris. Interesting that we see this just before Kirk's father dies, and just as James Kirk, his son/Sun, is born.

Through the 77/OZ doors...

... And into a gigantic black anus. This is actually part of a ship which just so happens to be sticking halfway out of a black hole of sorts, which kinda verifies the anus/Stargate thing going on here.

NCC - Another 3/17. It can also be an 11, and multiplied by that 3 over there on the left, you get 33 (in case the CC didn't stick out enough for you). It's a 3/17 because NC is 17 and C is 3. The "NCC" is on all of Starfleet's ships, and the Enterprise itself has a 17 next to the NCC.

Here is the Fool (Kirk) sliding towards the Abyss in his Chariot...

.. And the chariot flies into the abyss, while he is left hanging on the edge. Lots of edge-hanging done by Kirk in this movie. Not sure what it alludes to exactly, besides to incite the fear of falling into an abyss in the audience. Oh, and the music during this scene is the Beastie Boys song Sabotage, which says "I'm gonna set it straight, this Watergate" (Stargate)

Here is Spock, standing in front of a pyra-grid between some Pillar motifs, and some more Gridwork in the background. The pillars themselves have 3 upright Vs on them, for 666 of course. Also, there is a stacked MM/33 on the pillars, and a Double Chevron for readers of the Secret Sun.

In this scene, KirK gets his ass kicked on a Checkerboard floor.

Sector 47 (11), Level 3. 3 11 or 33.
I've noticed just a tad of Masonry involved with this movie. I mean, this is nothing new to anyone who watched the original Star Trek (unlike me, of course), but their uniforms are even blue and gold:

I thought it was good flick. Even though the version I watched was cropped down big time.
I stopped keeping track of the syncs too shortly in. Gonna have to rewatch. Thanks for taking the reigns on this one. I don't think too many wrote about it. Except for Jakes C-ing red video.
haha wv in green 'cakey' lol!
mmm, cakey...
I'll have to take another look at the C-ing Red video.
It's not a bad movie, I was just paying more attention to the commentary, since the version I watched had Rifftrax commentary synced with it.
The Green Man/Hulk/Osiris or Eric Bana as Nero travels through time via lightning/Zeus/Jupiter storm in space (StarG8). Connects well with the red eye red matter concept as associated to Jupiter.
Peace In
Wow- good catch on the Turbo C-17. Wasn't the O'Hare UFO sighting over Gate C17? I really wanted to like that movie but it had no depth, IMO.
I agree with the "no depth" comment, it all seemed pretty empty. I don't think they were saving stuff for a sequel either, because there's not really anywhere to go with it since it basically ends where the Star Trek series begins, and we all know how sequels to prequels work out...
The time travel stuff wasn't explained very well at all. I guess I understood it after watching the movie, but during it I was pretty confused.
Jake - the Red Eyes destroying Matter seem to be referencing the destruction of the veil of illusion through the third eye. Of course, the fact that it is weaponized in this movie is somewhat disturbing...
Jon - Let me clarify so I don't come off as a "yes man", I didn't think it was a bad movie, but I didn't see it as a particularly good movie either... Kinda hard to explain. The special effects were great, but the story wasn't very interesting. Just my opinion.
I'll put it this way.
I really... really enjoyed it....once.
But I'm a sucker for overdone guitar solos and extreme paint splash presentations.
For example....I watched Transformers 2 last night at the request of the wife. I went into it thinking I was gonna hate it. I ended up getting into it. Overloaded with synchs man. And the overdone comedy eventually won me over. Might have been the meds I was on though. hehe
I tried to watch Transformers 2 on three separate occasions (picking up where I had turned it off in utter horror), and still couldn't make it all the way through. Of course, my lifestyle is mostly unmedicated these days so maybe that has something to do with it. I just can't stand Shia LeBeouf. Or the extremely racist (on the part of Michael Bay) black autobots. Or mindless Megan Fox. Or the military circle jerk. Or Shia's "conspiracy website" roommate (Is that what the "operation" for your website looks like, Jon? Mine's a little more Bond-esque, actually).
I hate that movie just a little. Sure, the action sequences are sorta well done, but the Transformers cartoon was a few years before my time (I watched Beast Wars instead) so there wasn't any nostalgic value to be found, as was probably the case for you.
